Autumn here and it means one thing... Raju picks his favourite collection!

As autumn comes, it’s time to head to the hills and mountains for some long walks and fresh air.I never compromise on my equipment, and with Jack Wolfskin, I have a partner I can really trust!

My picks this week are based on favourites that I’ve had in my wardrobe for some time and have served me well in all types of conditions:

NORTHERN POINT JACKET 1304001
This is the perfect layering jacket for this part of the world, light and thin enough to fold away in a daypack if it gets too warm. Yet it is fleece lined, and has a shell that will protect you from wind and rain

ACTIVATE SKY PANT 1505481
I use these in all seasons. In winter, they protect me from rain & wind, and in summer from thorny bushes. They are stretchy and super comfortable, especially when climbing hills. Zip pockets means you don’t have to worry about losing your keys or wallet in a forest!

JWP MIDLAYER 1708212
Layering is essential, as conditions in altitude can change very suddenly. Having a breathable full zip sweat like this a must-have. This is one is part of JW’s PACK & GO range- very handy for those of us who hate carrying too much luggage

ESSENTIAL LONGSLEEVE 1806041
The perfect garment to wear under a mid-layer. This one made of organic cotton.

SKECHERS ESCAPE PLAN 51591
Skechers have only recently started producing a range for trekking. I have had the pleasure of trying them out and I took a pair of these with me last year when I walked the Via Francigena in Tuscany.

The shoes were comfortable, lightweight and very stable. A week of walking with no blisters at the end..

Come in store and the team will help you select these pieces for you .... & be ready for the weekend!
